Water degassing (deareation) system for removing oxygen from drinking
water, mainly built in 1995. The system operates using a two-stage
cold degassing process involving counter-current stripping with CO₂
and consists of the following components: - 2 degassing vessels
connected in series - Vacuum pump with separator - Centrifugal pumps -
CO2 dosing via needle valve - Pipe panel, various pipework, valves,
fittings, measurement and control technology - Control cabinet with
Simatic S5 control system, Additional title: cold degassing via
CO2-Stripping, Capacity: 20000 l/h, Gross volume deareation vessels
each: 285 l ; overpressure up to 1 bar, Gross volume buffer tank: 7060
l ; overpressure up to 4 bar, Residual oxygen content appr.: 0,010 -
0,015 mg/l, Operation / Control: Simatic S5, Material: stainless
steel, Position: mounted on stainless steel frame with feet, Features:
2 x degassing vessels; centrifugal pumps; vacuum pump with separator;
CO₂ dosing (via needle valve); flow, pressure and level
measurements; switch cabinet; pipe panel; various pipework, valves and
fittings
