The Bruker Q4 TASMAN is a \"multitool\" for metal analysis. It is used
to determine the exact chemical composition of metal samples within a
few seconds in order to identify alloys or detect
impurities.
The device is mainly used in areas where material quality is
crucial:
Incoming goods inspection: Quick check whether delivered pipes, wires
or small parts meet the ordered specification.
Foundries & Metal Processing: Melt monitoring and final inspection of
components.
The system can analyze almost all common industrial metals and their
alloys:
Materials: Iron and Steel (Fe), Aluminum (Al), Copper (Cu), Nickel
(Ni), Cobalt (Co), Magnesium (Mg), Lead (Pb), Tin (Sn), Titanium (Ti)
and Zinc (Zn).
Trace elements: Depending on the model (e.g. Q4 TASMAN 130), even
critical non-metals such as nitrogen (N) in steel or oxygen (O) in
copper can be detected in the smallest concentrations.
Speed: Thanks to the fast readout system, the device delivers results
up to 30 times faster than previous CCD generations
Analysis of difficult geometries: With special adapters, even thin
wires, sheet metal or small bolts can be measured precisely.
Database matching: The software includes a built-in database of over
350,000 alloys from more than 75 countries to instantly assign an
unknown sample to a material name.
Low-maintenance operation: The spark stand is designed to consume
little argon and rarely needs to be cleaned. Pc softtrue device is in
mint condition
